Alternative Learning Program (ALP)
In order to insure that our consumers are most prepared to return to the public school setting, Puzzle Piece Programs has partnered with Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) to provide clients with academic instruction. Through an online curriculum, aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, a licensed teacher facilitates instruction of middle and high school courses.
The Alternative Learning Program (ALP) application is submitted to the referral source, along with the referral packet. This is requested in tandem with the Day Treatment application in order to avoid delays in educational services.
